Pool Water Sanitation Options
The most important part of a swimming pool is sanitation. There’s obviously a few options we can choose for that as well. So we have what we call the naked fresh system, which is a freshwater pool. We have the traditional salt water chlorination, which majority of people do go for, and we also have now a ozone and renewal swim option as well. What do they do? The fresh water system is an iron and copper electrode. Basically there’s no chlorine in the water and it’s like swimming in fresh water.
Salt Water Swimming Pool
The salt water option, obviously, we work on a certain amount of salt that goes into the pool, and obviously that gets converted into chlorine through the salt water chlorinator cell. Then we have our ozone and mineral swim system. So with this system, it’s ozone sanitation, which kills 99.9% of all bacteria and viruses. It does have a salt cell, which just produces a tiny amount of chlorine that you wouldn’t actually be able to detect it. We actually put magnesium salts in there from the Dead Sea.
