A Geelong family that loves pools
For over 35 years, Gordon Ave Pools & Spas has been a part of the Geelong region — installing award-winning pools and spas across Geelong, the Surf Coast, and Melbourne’s western suburbs. We’re family owned and run, and we genuinely love what we do.
Led by Dean & Ange Holroyd
At Gordon Ave Pools & Spas you’ll find Dean and Ange Holroyd leading an established team of knowledgeable, innovative pool and spa experts. Dean’s 35 years in the industry have given him the kind of knowledge that only comes with time — and a simple aim: to deliver honest, professional service that fits each customer’s lifestyle and budget.
We’re a family business, and we love pools. Dean and Angela taught their two boys to swim, and every special occasion at home is celebrated with a pool party. It’s that same warmth we bring to every project — most of our work comes through referrals, so our customers are always our top priority.
Construction manager Sam leads our installations with a flexible, affordable approach across a wide range of properties throughout the region.
Why families choose us
Award-winning work
Regular SPASA award winners — including two Golds at the 2020 SPASA Victoria awards (Fibreglass Pool & Spa Combination, and Fibreglass Pool over $60,000) and the 2018 National Award of Excellence, with many more over the years. Proof of the quality we put into every build.
Leading Compass dealer
As the leading Compass Pools installer in Greater Geelong, we stand behind the product: a ceramic core, a lifetime structural and hydrostatic warranty, and Vantage self-cleaning on most builds.
Service for the life of your pool
We’re known for meaningful, point-of-need service and ongoing communication. We stand behind every product with advice, back-up and maintenance — we’re with you for the life of your pool.
Dip your toes in — literally
Unlike most Geelong pool builders, our award-winning display centre lets you experience our fully automatic in-floor cleaning systems up close and in action. See it before you build it.
Proudly local — and a little further afield
We install pools and spas throughout Geelong, the Bellarine, the Surf Coast and Melbourne’s western suburbs — from Torquay and Ocean Grove to Werribee, and as far west as Colac. Wherever you are, we’d love to help you plan your project.
Don’t just take our word for it — hear from Geelong families we’ve built for.

A website built for people — and for AI
Our website was rebuilt by Andrej from Catnapweb, a Melbourne-based AI SEO and GEO specialist. He gave us an AI-ready website that answers the questions Geelong families actually ask, so we can be found and recommended in Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI search tools. Through ongoing AI SEO, he also set up enhanced enquiry source tracking, so we know exactly where every new pool enquiry comes from.
